Abstract
Abstract Teenage is transition period in human life that connects childhood toadolescence. The teenage limit is from 10 to 19 years old. Food consumption pattern of teenagers will determine the total of nutrients level used for their growth and development. To find out the relation of energy, protein, fat and carbohydrate consumption levelsin Islamic Senior High School of Al Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Islamic Boarding House Klaten the research type is observational research with Cross-sectional approach. The research subjects are 75 samples taken using simple random sampling in 5 classes of the high school. The food consumption and nutritional status data are obtained using 24-hour recall form in 3 inconsecutive days. The nutritional status is obtained using anthropometric measurement which is to measure the body weight and height. The statistical test employed is spearman rank test.The sample that has lack of energy consumption is 89% whereas the sample with proper energy consumption is 6,8%. The sample with lack of fat consumption is 90,4% whereas the sample with the proper fat consumption is 9,6%. The sample with lack of carbohydrate consumption is 89% whereas the sample with the proper carbohydrate consumption is 11%. The results of the energy consumption and nutritional status correlation test shows p=0.0007,the fat consumption and nutritional status correlation test shows p=0,11, and the carbohydrate consumption and nutritional status correlation test shows p=0.039.there is no significant relation between the energy consumption and nutritional status, but still there is relation between the energy, fat and carbohydrate consumption and nutritional status in Islamic Senior High School of Al Muttaqien Pancasila Sakti Islamic Boarding House Klaten.
