Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Current Ratio, Debt to Total Assets, Return on Assets, age and firm size on financial distress level with, based on samples using purposive sampling, obtained 70 samples of food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies. The data used in this study are secondary data from the annual financial statements of each sample of food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies in 2013-2017. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis with an SPSS 22 software program. The results of the study showed that Debt to Total Assets,Return on Assets and firm age variables have a significant effect on the financial distress level, while Current Ratio variables and firm size do not affect the financial distress level.
