Abstract
Al-Kautsar Muhammadiyah Middle School The Kartasura Special Program shapes the STAF character of its students through special school programs carried out with various strategies, in order to produce the next generation of the Prophet Muhammad. based on the Qur'an and hadith. This study was written to describe how the strategy was used and identify the constraints and solutions offered in forming the character of STAF in Al-Kautsar Muhammadiyah Middle School Kartasura Special Program. The type of research used in this study is field research. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The analytical method used is data collection, data merging, data processing, and conclusions. The results of the research obtained by the researchers were that the strategy of forming STAF characters was carried out through several methods, namely: exemplary methods, habituation methods, increased motivation, enforcement of rules, rewards and punishments. Of the five methods that are most prominent and often used in all activities are habituation methods, because by getting used to something it will become a routine in everyday life. While the obstacles faced in the formation of this STAF character, namely: new teachers are slow to adapt, lack of awareness of students in obeying the rules, less than optimal teacher cooperation with some of their parents. The solution, the school selects new teacher talents that are in accordance with the needs of the school, the teacher carries out further assistance to students, the school builds better communication with parents.
