Abstract

Export-import transactions became one of the most important activities for the development of the Indonesian economy. Tea is one of Indonesia’s leading export commodities. This result was doing with the aim of analyzing the competitiveness and influence of production, international prices and exchange rate on Indonesian tea exports. The data used in this study is time series data from 2001 to 2017. Analysis tool used in this research is Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Based on the results of RCA analysis shows that RCA value is greater than 1, this indicates that the export of Indonesia’s tea have a strong competitiveness in the international market. Based on the results of OLS analysis indicates that production has no influence on tea exports. International price and exchange rate have an influnce on tea exports.
