Abstract

Tawangmangu is a sub-district located in the eastern of Karanganyar district. Tawangmangu as a tourist place has a variety of typical foods in each region. During this time the outside community only knows a number of kinds of foods tha exist in Tawangmangu, not all of the foods in Tawangmangu is specifically in place whore the outside community is rarely knows by tourists. Some of the tourist visiting Tawangmangu are just tasting the typical Tawangmangu cuisine. Therefore this study aims to develop a tyical foods search application for Tawangmangu so that it can be used as a supporting medium in finding and obtaining information about culinary tourism in Tawangmangu.the method used in the researchhas several stages, namely the system analysis , the system design, the implementation phase and the system testing phase. The result of this application are tested with black box stating this application is running well. The result of the questionnaire were give an average percentage score of 85% stating that the application was running well and can help the community in finding location information about Tawangmangu’s special food. The outside community will find it easier to find food information and locations to determine culinary destinations in the Tawangmangu area. Keyword : culinary, souvenirs, search, Tawangmangu
