Abstract
The develop home industry can be increasing income and employment. Beside that, an industry also creates environmental problems. Alcohol industry in Ngombakan Village produce liquid waste which handling waste didn’t manage properly, so the waste disposal is carried out into the river without further management. It will consequence decrease river water quality. This study purposed to(1) analyze the quality suitable of Samin River water with PP No.82 of 2001 concering water quality and control of water pollution for class II(recreation, fish cultivation, husbandry),III(fish cultivation, husbandry, watering plants), IV(watering plants) (2) analyze the occurrence distance of self purification on Samin River. The method using survey and the sampling use a purposive sampling. The result are (1)The suitability of water quality Samin River shows that BOD parameters accordance with class IV standards are Nongko and Bugel, doesn’t conform quality standards at Nongko, Plampang, Pengkol. For COD parameters accordance with class II quality standards are Nongko, Pengkol and Bugel, accordance class III, IV are Nongko and Pengkol, doesn’t fit all class is Plampang. Then, the DO parameter corresponds all class are Nongko and Bugel, only class IV at Nongko, Plampang, Pengkol. TSS parameter accordance all class at Nongko and Pengkol, then doesn’t conforms II class at Plampang and Bugel. The suitability of temprature and pH parameters accordance with all class at all locations. Another that, the Sulfide parameters aren’t accordance with the quality standards of all class are all locations (2)Samin River self purification divide into three zones; decomposition zone at Nongko, its source of pollution. The biodegradation zone at Plampang, the distance is 560,9 m. The recovery zone, distance 2697,9m are Pengkol and Bugel. However, recovery zone hasn’t been fully recovered, because the BOD and COD consentrations show fluctuacting numbers and exceed concentration from the first location.
