Abstract

Creative industry is an industry derived from the use of individual creativity, skills and talents to create prosperity and employment by producing and exploiting the individual's creative and creative power. In Solo there is still a creative industry that is not well known by the public. Phenomenon due to lack of public knowledge about the creative industry in Solo. The creative industry in the city of Solo should have an important role for economic development which is also helped by the community to socialize it. The facts that have been described are the background of the procurement of the project "Adaptive Reuse Ex-Omah Lowo Creative As Wood Creative Industry". The existence of "Adaptive Reuse Ex-Omah Lowo Solo As Wood Creative Industry" will be a space for some of the creative wood industries in the city of Solo where there are gallery and workshops. Aside from educating, it is also a means of buying and selling works of related creative industries. The building chosen in this development also uses the Omah Lowo building which is conserved by adaptive re-use and adjusted its space program with crossprograming. Planning and design is certainly expected to be an object that supports the vision of Solo City for the longterm program that is run and in line with the branding image of the City of Solo, namely "Creative Solo, Prosperous Solo".
