Abstract

Job satisfaction or job satisfaction is a situation where someone feels happy or not towards something that is done, or can be a pleasant or unpleasant view of an employee on his job. The purpose of this study is to understand and describe the work climate that needs to be grown in order to create job satisfaction for members of the security unit at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The research method used is Qualitative Phenomenologist whose data was collected through filling out open questionnaires to 35 informants, informants were selected using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of security unit members. The results of the study show that to create a work climate that can foster a sense of satisfaction when working on how to create a comfortable work environment. In addition to a supportive environment, coworkers also become one of the triggers for growing satisfaction in employees. Adequate facilities to support work. Employee welfare in accordance with the workload given is one that can create a work climate that can foster satisfaction when working. To be able to create job satisfaction in individuals, the individual must be able to choose a job that fits his personality because one of the causes of job satisfaction is the suitability of the work with personality .
