Abstract

ABSTRACTION The development of the city little by little has produced many positive and negative impacts from the community. One of the most severe and classic problems solved by the community is the accumulation of garbage material. The Environmental Education Center is a learning center for adult children to understand all about the environment. To build a better city in the future that will come and not be built. The architect is ready from the start to be prepared for architectural education needed on things, such as achieving a decent quality of life for all residents of the residential area and the application of technological applications that value social, cultural, aesthetic, and awareness Environmental Education Tourism is an area that has various facilities as a place for training and development related to environmental sustainability. With the existence of the Environmental Education Tourism area in Surakarta, it is expected that there will be a place in the field of information, education and training on the environment, both renewable and not renewable and aware of the importance of such education for environmental sustainability.
