Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the washing machine mode in the washing section in the CV. Alvian using the FMEA method (Failure Mode Effect Analysis). FMEA is a method used for the process, design, process or service to make steps to handle it. Pareto diagrams are useful for prioritizing or producing processes that have occurred. Data processing of this research is carried out by using interview methods and questionnaires to find information within the company. Can anyone know the production process and the level of production according to the method used. After knowing the saverity, occurance, and detection values obtained from the questionnaire distribution, the value of RPN can be known. Use the optimal process that must be prioritized, namely fast blade wear (360), raw material piled up (336), raw material scattered (294). Then in the prioritized process a fishbone diagram is made to improve the quality of a product by determining the problems and causes that reduce product quality.
