In the 2018-2027 Electricity Supply Plan (RUPTL PLN), PLN is targeting the development of the Renewable New Energy (EBT) plant to be targeted at 14,911 MW for the entire territory of Indonesia. At PLN 2017 RUPTL. In detail, the energy portion of electricity generation in 2025 is EBT (23 percent), coal (54.4 percent), gas (22 percent), and BBM (0.4 percent). Electrical energy can be generated through water resources such as through Micro Hydro Power Plants (MHP). This feasibility study is needed to identify the potential of a generating unit in Central Java for MHP especially Bendung Njaen in Kagokan Village, Gatak Subdistrict, Sukoharjo Regency. There are several methods used by the author to look for headlines, namely by using manual calculations and using Google Maps coordinates to find the highest and lowest points of Njaen Dam, data from Njaen Dam water discharge obtained from reliable sources, and using water discharge data using floating methods on river flow by utilizing the depth and width of the measured river flow data. The result of the study obtained the electric power potential in Bendung Njaen with a height of 5 meters, the average electric power potential that will be generated is 11.92 kW and the potential of the electric power produced can fluctuate depending on the amount of water discharge in each month. The type of turbine used is Cross Flow T-14 D300 and 3 phase synchronous generator type with a capacity of 10 kW. The total budget for the design of Njaen Dam is Rp. 2,006,125,000.00.
