Abstract
Muhammadiyah Middle School Al-Kautsar The Kartasura Special Program is one of the schools in Surakarta that has a Special Program. The Special Program owned by this school is called the Comprehensive Guidance System. It consists of six elements in its implementation, namely spiritual guidance, academic and potential guidance, social guidance, health guidance, character guidance, and long life guidance. The special program was born because the teachers at the Al-Kautsar Muhammadiyah Middle School Special Program were of the view that each student has its own specific values and has the nature to do good. So from that education is an effective means to maintain that fitrah. One way that Al-Kautsar Muhammadiyah Middle School does is by creating a good school culture through its special program. This research includes field research, namely research carried out by directly arriving schools that are the object of research. While in collecting data, the writer uses interview, observation, and documentation methods. And the method of data analysis is done in a descriptive way, namely explaining the situation as it is. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the Comprehensive Guidance System in building school culture is carried out by assisting students in terms of spiritual, academic, social, health, character, and long-term assistance for students who have graduated. Elements of school culture developed by Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Middle School Kartasura Special Program through a comprehensive guidance system include verbal visual elements that cover: vision and mission of Al-Kautsar Muhammadiyah Middle School Special Program, curriculum, language and communication, school narrative, structure organization, facilities and equipment, artifacts, and motto. While the visual elements of behavior include rituals, teaching and learning processes, reward and punishment rules, and patterns of interaction with parents and society.
