Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the validity of online buying and selling agreements and legal protection for parties using joint account services. The research used was descriptive using a juridical approach. Data obtained through research on Forum buying and selling gaming equipment located at the research site at the Solo Raya Equip Gaming Buying and Selling Forum located in the Serengan sub-district of Surakarta, Central Java. with the method of data collection through document and field studies. the technique of data analysis of this study is qualitative data analysis. the results of the study indicate that the Online Sale and Purchase Agreement through the Joint Account in the Equip Gaming Buying and Selling Forum fulfills the legal requirements of Article 1320 Civil Code in the form of an agreement skills, certain things, a reason that is lawful. Even though the skills have not been fulfilled, not making the agreement null and void but it can be canceled by one of the parties who proposed to cancel the agreed agreement. While for legal protection carried out by the admin of FJB.EG, if there is an error in the sale and purchase transaction by using a joint account service between the parties, then there will be a permanent ban on the accounts and IDs of the parties proven to be defaulting.
