Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze: (1) influence of significance between the learning model DL and PBL against the results of the study of mathematics. (2) the influence to obtain the level of significance of mathematical communication ability of students against the results of the learning of mathematics. (3) the existence of an interaction between the learning model of mathematical communication ability with students toward outcome studied mathematics. This type of research design experimental research with quantitative relation. The population in this research as much as 240 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Sawit. Samples taken in this research as much as 3 classes, the class of the first experiments with a model of learning DL, the second experiment with the model class learning PBL, and classroom learning model with conventional controls. Sampling techniques using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques with methods of tests and documentation. Analytical techniques used in this research is the analysis of variansi two lines with the same cells. Based on the results of the research with a 5% significance level, obtained: (1) there is the influence of learning model DL, PBL, and the results of conventional learning math students, learning models DL and PBL the same effect against the results of the learn math while both have a different influence with conventional learning model against the results of the learning of mathematics, class DL and PBL better if compared to conventional classes. (2) there is the influence of mathematical communication ability against the results of the learning of mathematics, the results of the study of mathematics students with a high level of mathematical communication ability better than medium and low levels, while the results of the study of mathematics students with moderate levels of mathematical communication abilities and low. (3) there are interactions between the model of learning and mathematical communication skills against the results of student learning.
