Abstract

Education is an important factor in the progress of the nation. Through education it is expected to be able to produce qualified human resources (HR), so that education is able to develop all the potential of each individual. Digital Storytelling (DST) is an alternative that can be implemented to process digital content. DST is not only moving the art of storytelling into a multimedia format containing images, videos, audio using certain applications. Some experts claim that digital storytelling is a modern expression of ancient art in storytelling. Biological learning has a lot of material that is contextual in nature. Some material is sometimes considered difficult, with DST this can help students find a pleasant and easy experience in understanding the material by finding their own information, so students can be eager to learn it. This study uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with the Research and Development (R & D) method. The feasibility of digital storytelling media is said to be feasible with the acquisition of feasibility assessments from media experts at 62.5%, experts material 75%, and students at 80.26%.
