Abstract
The learning of the Tahfīul Qur'ān continues to flourish in modern times. At present even almost all major cities in Indonesia have many schools of Tahfīul Qur'ān. The program is very large and the branches are spread across the country to foreign countries. Not to mention small schools scattered everywhere. So great is the desire and enthusiasm of the Muslim community in joining the program. In Muhammadiyah Middle School 4 Surakarta there is a program to memorize the Qur'an with a target of memorizing 1 juz al-Qur'an every year. the program is called excellent class. memorization is done starting from juz 30 then 29 and 28. This research has a problem statement on how the implementation of the Tahfīẓul Qur’an learning and what are the inhibiting factors and supporting learning of Tahfīul Qur'ān. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning of the Tahfīẓul Qur'ān at Muhammadiyah Middle School 4 Surakarta and describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Tahfīẓul Qur'ān learning at Muhammadiyah 4 Middle School in Surakarta. This type of research is field research with qualitative research methods. Data collection using interview, observation and documentation methods. And analysis of data obtained using deductive. The results of this study can be concluded that the implementation of the Tahfīẓul Qur'ān learning in the excellent class for class VII and class VIII is held on Tuesday and Thursday, at 14.30-15.10. But the implementation was carried out in class for class VII students, while for class VIII students who completed the target of 30 juz in the classroom and in the mosque for students who took juz 29. As for class IX, the learning was held on Monday and Wednesday at 14.30-15.10 at classes for students who have not finished juz 30 and 29. And in the prayer room for students who take juz 28. The process of implementation is covering the introduction of opening and muraja'ah, then the core activity (memorizing) is the last closing of the deposit. Then the supporting factors of the Tahfīẓul Qur'ān learning are strong encouragement from the teacher and the enthusiasm of the teacher, Camping Qur'an and mabit in Tawangmangu. The learning inhibiting factors of the Tahfīul Qur'ān include: lack of self motivation and enthusiasm of students in memorizing, lack of attention from parents in guiding memorization at home
