Abstract

Yatim Puteri Aisyiyah Orphanage Kotta Barat Surakarta Branch is one of Muhammadiyah's charitable businesses engaged in the social sector. This orphanage in the Surakarta area also opens the opportunity to memorize Al-Quran at least three juz for orphans, orphans and neglected children in order to have a noble morality. Di Panti uses several types of methods in memorizing the Qur'an, namely the isma'i, jama 'and talaqqi methods. Of the several methods used in memorizing the Koran the talaqqi method is a method that can improve memorization for the santri. The formulation of the problem presented is how is the implementation of the method of talaqqi in increasing memorization of Al Quran Santri? and how is the result of increasing the recitation of the Al Quran Santri by the method of talaqqi in the Orphanage?. Whereas the purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the talaqqi method in increasing female santri Al Quran memorization at the Orphanage and describing the results of the santri female recitation of the Al Quran with the talaqqi method at the Yatim Puteri Aisyiyah Orphanage in the western city of Surakarta. This research is a field research, where the authors go directly to the research location to find out the problems and factors that influence them with a qualitative approach. Data sources use primary and secondary data sources. The technique of collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses an analytical method in the form of an inductive method. The conclusions of this study are the efforts to improve the memorization ability of the Qur'an there are factors that influence the improvement of santri memorization skills at the orphanage and from several methods used in memorizing the Qur'an, the talaqqi method is one alternative in improving Al Quran santri's memorizing abilities at the Aisyiyah Orphanage, West Surakarta Kotta Branch
