Abstract
There are various types of work that a person can choose, including being a civil servant (PN), private or entrepreneurship. Indonesia's entrepreneurial ratio in 2014 was still 1.67%, now based on BPS data it has risen to 3.1 percent above the minimum limit of 2% as a developing country of the total population in Indonesia. One type of entrepreneurial business is the culinary business, in Surakarta the business in the culinary field is increasing. In entrepreneurship creativity is very necessary to develop new ideas. Entrepreneurship is important to have an independent attitude that is expected to be able to identify business opportunities, then utilize business opportunities to create new job opportunities. The purpose of this study is as follows: 1) To examine the relationship between independent attitudes and entrepreneurial creativity in the culinary business owners in Surakarta. 2) To find out the level of independent attitude and entrepreneurial creativity in the culinary business owners in Surakarta. 3) To find out the large distribution of independent attitudes towards entrepreneurial creativity in the culinary business owners in Surakarta. The population in this study is based on data from the Surakarta Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) totaling 859 special culinary business owners. The number of samples in this study was taken 15% of the number of 859 culinary business owners obtained 129 people. The data collection tool using the scale in this study there are two scales, namely the scale of entrepreneurial creativity and independent attitude. Data analysis used in this study is statistical analysis. using Pearson's product moment correlation analysis. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) There is a very significant positive relationship between independent attitudes and entrepreneurial creativity of culinary business owners in Surakarta. That is, the higher the independent attitude of the subject, the higher the entrepreneurial creativity. 2) The level of independent attitudes is in the high category, as well as the creativity of entrepreneurship as high as the culinary business owners in Surakarta. 3) The large effective contribution of independent attitude towards entrepreneurial creativity in the culinary business owner in Surakarta is 15.3%. This means that there are still several other variables that affect entrepreneurial creativity by 84.7%. These other variables include interest, motivation, peer support, or parental support.
