Abstract
ABSTRACT Laweyan Subdistrict is an area that has 44 UMKM 39 of which are medium MSMEs and the remaining 5 are small industries. The batik industry also dominates that there are 36 batik industries and the remaining 8 industries are other industries. The batik industry is a potential industry to encourage the people's economy through the MSME sector, even this industry has the potential to become large and international. The purpose of this study are: (1) To analyze variations in export-oriented micro business spheres in Laweyan sub-district, Surakarta city (2) to analyze the distribution of export-oriented micro enterprises in Laweyan sub-district, Surakarta city. The method used in this study is a survey. The population contained in this study are all micro-enterprises in Laweyan sub-district which are export oriented. The sampling technique in this study is a non-probability sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that are export oriented in Laweyan Subdistrict show an uneven distribution pattern, based on the results of research it is known that out of 43 MSMEs 33 businesses are located in Laweyan Village. Of the 43 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Subdistrict, there are 25 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with Export oriented. The products are mostly dominated by the Batik Industry, this is because Laweyan District is the center of Batik and is the oldest Batik village that has existed since 15 AD.
