Abstract
Nanoparticles are currently the concern of researchers for development in science and technology. In this study of wulung bamboo charcoal nanoparticles produced with a top – down approach using shaker mills collision methode with an increase in 3/16 inch size steel ball collision energy from 800, 900 to 1000 rpm for 3 million cycles. Test were carried out to determine particle size, characterization and composition including PSA, SEM and EDX tests. From 3 PSA tests, different results were obtained, but still in the category of nanomaterials, that is 599 nm, 523,5 nm and 875,5 nm. Perticles morphology from SEM test shaped irregular round. The EDX test results from the elements contained in the material include Carbon (C) 95,31%, Silica Dioxide (SiO2) 2,14%, Potassium Dioxide (K2O) 0,78%, Copper (II) Oxide (CuO) 0,77%, Zinc Oxide (ZnO) 0,48%, Iron (II) Oxide (FeO) 0,52
