Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) the innovation of the pharmacy study program creativity in improving the quality of education in the Muhammadiyah Vocational High School (2) what obstacles in carrying out the creativity innovation of the pharmacy study program in improving the quality (3) the solution to the obstacles in innovating creativity in the pharmacy study program. This study used qualitative research, which was carried out in Lebaksiu Vocational High School and the subject of this research was the curriculum waka, the head of the study program, teachers, employees and students as well as the school committee with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity techniques using data triangulation and methodological triangulation while data analysis techniques use interactive models which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions.From the results of this study it can be concluded that (1) innovation of pharmacy study program creativity in improving the quality of education in LebaksiuMuhammadiyah Vocational High School is carried out in accordance with the plans made at the beginning of the year (2) obstacles in this implementation there are internal problems as well as the teacher who lack discipline in carrying out the process of teaching and learning activities, lack of additional knowledge for productive teachers because many productive teachers do not last long in school, inadequate facilities and infrastructure and limited school land to add space. (3) the solution to the obstacles in this study so that in the KBM activities the teacher's mother is more disciplined and in the case of recruiting new teachers there are binding rules for a 4-year contract agreement to be made so that the teacher can get maximum knowledge about creativity innovation programs more maximally so delivery to students is more effective and efficient.
