Abstract
The aim of this research was to find out: 1. Describe the implementation of Curriculum 2013 at SD IT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar, 2. Describe the involvement of parents, 3. To know effect from involvement of parents. The approach of this research was qualitative using phenomenological design. Subject of this were Headmaster, Teachers and Parents. Techniques for collecting data are observation, interview and documentation, and triangulation source to validity data. The result of this research showed: 1. The implementation of Curriculum 2013 at SD IT Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar have received support from parents, and the implementation already appropriate with perspective, mission and purpose from regulations of government. 2. To make succes the implementation of curriculum 2013, parents carry out such as accompany children to study, give facilities for children, drop off and pick up children to school and facilities children’s need. 3. Advantages of this research for children to be independently, active and increse of curiosity. 4. Disadvantages of this research for parents feel confusion about result of children’s study and materials from the curriculum 2013 is limited. 5. Solution from school is giving socialiszation about curriculum 2013 for parents and protect communication with them.
