Abstract

NIOSH Occupational Health Centre in (2003) mention the average each Hospital there are 68 employees injured and six employees sick. Widodo hospital in January to may 2018 2018-recorded as many as five people who suffered a work accident is pricked by needles that have been used so that opportunity against the spread of infectious diseases nosocomial. The disease is generally caused by a lack of knowledge and behavior of nurses about health and safety. The purpose of this research is to know the relation of knowledge and behavior of K3 with K3 culture for nurses in hospitals Widodo and the paths. This type of research quantitative survey using observational analytic approach through cross sectional. The population in this study nurses who work in hospitals and the paths that add Widodo 120 people. The technique of sampling with Proportional Random Sampling and the number of samples obtained as many as 99 respondents. The analysis used a Spearman Rank Test. The results of statistical tests indicate no relationship knowledge K3 (ρ-value = 0000) and this value of r = 0.356 and no relationship behavior K3 (ρvalue = 0,512) K3 culture for nurses in hospitals Widodo and the paths.
