Abstract
Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement, water, and aggregates. Concrete connection are a combination of hard concrete and fresh concrete. Fresh concrete is a concrete mixture that has been mixed for a while, the characteristics have not changed or are plastic and no binding has occurred. Hard concrete is concrete that is rigid enough to withstand pressure. For this study, the material used to glue the connection to hard concrete with fresh concrete is Styrobond concrete glue. In this study aims to determine how much adhesion strength of concrete glue on hard concrete connection with fresh concrete and connections without using styrobond concrete glue. This test is in the form of compressive strength test with cylindrical test object dimensions of 15x30 cm, and beams with dimensions of 15x15x60 cm for flexural strength test. The results of the study used the flexural strength testing method on a straight connection beam of LA 1 = 5,133 MPa, LAS 1 = 5,933 MPa, TL 1 = 3,200 MPa, for a sloping connection of LA 2 = 3,296 MPa, LAS 2 = 3,944 MPa, TL 2 = 2,282 MPa and concrete without connection is TS = 8.533 MPa. Thus it can be concluded that the concrete connection using Styrobond glue is stronger than the connection without using concrete glue.
