Abstract
The research objective was to determine the effect of corporate governance through the IDX in 2014 to 2016. To find out how corporate governance on the IDX in 2014 up to. listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 to 2016. The population in this study is a company engaged in the goods industry which was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 to 2016. Manufacturing companies of the consumer goods sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2016. Based on the results of this study indicate that the board of directors is not able to significantly affect the performance of the company. The size of the company is very influential on the performance of the company and the board of directors and the size of the company relating to the performance of the company. While the results of the test coefficient of determination (R2) above shows the Adjusted R Square value (R2) of 0.325. This shows the variables that can be relied on by the dependent variable. 32.5%, while for 67.5% influenced by other variables outside of this study.
