Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe conflict and conflict management in married couples early marriage due to pregnancy outside marriage. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Qualitative data collection was obtained from 6 informants of 3 male informants and 3 female informants, pregnant outside marriage lived in Wonogiri regency, marriage age, 1 year 5 years and 10 years, when married less than 21 years old. The results showed that the conflicts faced by informants who married early because of pregnancy outside of marriage in the early mass of the conflict faced were internal conflicts in the form of: finances, adjustment of the character of the couple, communication with spouses, partner mistrust, and domestic violence. As well as external conflict Because of the emotional, physical, and financial immaturity of the informant facing moral sanctions from the community, and having to have problems with large families (in-laws and in-laws), experiencing social isolation confining themselves in the house and suicide attempts. Entering the third year of marriage, the conflict experienced by informants, the way of financial regulation. After entering the age of marriage, the seven conflicts faced are still the same, only the intensity that begins to decrease is financial, communication and character of the couple who cannot change and saturation with a partner. At the beginning of the management marriage that was applied to each female informant succumbing to any conflict, Every time there was a conflict the male partner avoided more, Submitting the problem to the couple's partner more following what their partner wanted, In couples with higher education (Bachelor) conflict management applied is self-control, open communication. In couples with a low level of education and do not carry out religious activities, conflict management that is applied still tends to be the same as the first years of marriage, which keeps the couple from surviving because they are children, so informants persist with their marriage.
