Abstract
Bamboo Charcoal can be developed as carbon nanoparticles that has various adventages in terms of physical and chemical properties. This purpose of this study was to determine the particle size, visualization and chemical composition of bamboo charcoal. Nanoparticles were manufactured using mechanical milling shaker mill model with 5/32 Inch diameter of ball mills and used 3 million cycle with increased energy, there are 800 rpm in first a million cycle, 900 rpm in second a million cycle and 1000 rpm in the last a million cycles. Particle size was analized with Particle Size Analizer (PSA) while to know particle visualization and chemical composition is used SEM and EDX test. The PSA test has been doing in 3 times with the result is 649,43nm for particle size. The particle shape and size were in nano size. There was correlation between PSA and SEM test. The chemical composition of sample showed that carbon is the most element that are 92,26%. So bamboo charcoal is a potentialsource for producing carbon nanoparticles
