Abstract

Practicum in science learning is an effective method for achieving learning goals. This study aims to determine the difficulties of science teachers in the implementation of the science practice at Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surakarta. Data collection techniques in the form of laboratory documentation and IPA practicum activities, teacher observation during the implementation of the science lab and interviews with science teachers at Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surakarta. The data obtained are descriptive data on the difficulty of science teachers in Muhamadiyah 1 Surakarta Middle School in the implementation of the Natural Science Practicum. Research results show that the highest percentage is in practical evaluation (76%), practicum preparation in the preparation of the LKPD in the science practicum (75%), the preparation of the practicum of science (73%) and the lowest percentage in the practicum (66%).
