Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: 1). Effect of student learning attitudes on student learning activity 2). Effect of teacher teaching methods on class student learning activity 3). Effect of students' learning attitudes and methods of teaching teachers on student learning activity. This type of research is quantitative associative. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Kartasura Academic Year 2018/2019 with a total of 179 students with a sample of 119 students taken with a proportional simple random sampling method. Data obtained from questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, coefficient of determination (R2), relative contribution and effective contribution. Based on the results of data analysis obtained multiple linear regression equation as follows: Y = 12.711 + 0.281X1 + 0.511X2. The equation shows that student learning activity is influenced by students' learning attitudes and teacher teaching methods. Based on the analysis and discussion concluded that: 1) There is an influence of students' learning attitudes towards student learning activity. This is based on the results of multiple linear regression (t test), it is known that tcount > ttable is 2.978 > 1.981 and a significance value <0,05 is 0.004 with a relative contribution of 26,89% and an effective contribution of 16,51%. 2) There is an influence of the teacher's teaching method on student learning activity. This is based on the results of multiple linear regression (t test), it is known that tcount> ttable is 6,021> 1,981 and the significance value <0.05 is 0.000 with a relative contribution of 73.11% and an effective contribution of 44.89% 3) There is an influence of attitude student learning and teaching methods for students on student learning activity. This is based on the results of multiple linear regression (F test), it is known that Fcount> Ftable is 35,026> 3,07 and the significance value> 0,05 is 0,000 with R Square (R2) obtained 0,614 means 61,4% of Student Learning Activity is affected by Student Learning Attitudes and Teacher Teaching Methods while the remaining 38,6% is influenced by other variables not examined in the study.
