Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning. In the 2013 Curriculum on Financial Accounting Subjects. This type of research is a qualitative research method. Data collection methods used are interviews and observations. The results of the study show that the core problem in financial accounting subjects in Surakarta Batik Vocational School 1 is the recording of accounts receivable cards because students have difficulty understanding terms in completing journals. In the learning strategy using themodelProblem Based Learning (PBL), the most important is the aspect of the process, not only the results and responses of students obtained. In this study the teachers of financial accounting subjects in Surakarta Batik 1 SMK did not understand about the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) using themodelProblem Based Learning (PBL). But in the learning process, it has used thelearning model Problem Based Learning (PBL), only in making the Lesson Plan (RPP) less detailed. Student learning outcomes usinglearning models Problem Based Learning (PBL)indicate that all students have achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) while for students' responses, they are not fully understood and sometimes difficult to understand because these financial accounting subjects should be more in practice completing tasks in solving these problems.
