Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe the discipline of teacher attendance before and after the application of electronic presence (Fingerprint). In this study focuses on changing teacher behavior about discipline after Fingerprint. This study uses a qualitative approach. The analyzed data are the results of interviews with informants such as principals and teachers, direct observation / observation and documentation relating to the presence of teachers / staff. The results showed that before the implementation of electronic presence the discipline of teacher attendance was relatively low because many teachers were present at the school not in accordance with working hours but only if there were only teaching hours. But after the application of electronic presence there was a change in the teacher's behavior about attendance discipline, which was originally present in school according to teaching hours changed to be more orderly and disciplined in accordance with working hours, namely coming early before working hours starting at 07.00 a.m, even though the teacher's teaching hours were still late. Likewise when going home, the teacher must wait for the working hours to end, which is at 3:30 p.m. West Indonesian Time to attend. Teachers become more orderly and discipline is present at school according to working hours, so that the workload can be met.
