Abstract

Sriwedari Park is a city park located in the Centre of Solo. There in lies the potential facilities such as the Radyapustaka Museum Gedung Kesenian Wayang Orang, Lake, Pendopo, dan Gedung Graha Wisata. Heritage Park has a number of historical buildings is formerly a garden belonging to the Kingdom of Surakarta and also known as Bunrojo. Sriwedari Park is now managed by the Government of the city of Solo. Within a few decades of Sriwedari Park has the popularity to evoke City Branding on the part of the community. The popularity of Sriwedari Park dims and now has undergone a lot of changes from the beginning of its construction with the automatic function of Sriwedari Park also changed. Originally functioning as a children's place doing community activities such as exercise and refreshing now turned into business areas and offices. Returns the function of Sriwedari Park was very important considering the Sriwedari Park is one of the great potential of tourism in the city of Solo. Make the Sriwedari Park as the center of the Garden City Community container into everyday such as exercise, recreation and education is one of the efforts to turn the keeksisan Sriwedari Park as it was before with the modern concept but it still has elements of the culture of the city of Solo. Sriwedari Central Park is a manifestation of Sriwedari Park in the past are packed more dynamic and modern society's activities according to the needs of Solo in order to Solo city community not to forget historical Sriwedari Park itself.
