Abstract
This study aimed to (1) whether the use of media puzzle learning fractions by scientific approach can achieve mastery in aspects of student achievement in elementary school fourth grade N Kateguhan 01; (2) whether the average value of the learning achievement of students taught using the media puzzle fractional scientific approach to more than students taught byThe scientific approach assisted textbook. The approach is quantitative with the type of quasi-experimental research. The data is collection techniques used are observation, documentation and testing. Test instrument used validity and reliability. Test prerequisite in this study using a test for normality and homogeneity. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive test and independent comparative testing of two samples. The results of the descriptive test is obtained t_hitung> the t_tabel 5.492 > 2.00172 with a significant level of 0.05,H_0, While calculations using two independent comparative testing of samples obtained values t_hitung = 3.429 whereas = 2.00172, then>t_tabel t_hitung t_tabel, It can be concluded that there is the influence of media use fractional puzzle with the scientific approach textbook assisted in increasing the average value of the material fractions mathematics achievement Elementary School fourth grade students Kateguhan 01 Tawangsari.
