Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of export, import, exchange rate to foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia during the period of 1985-2015. The data used are Indonesian foreign exhange reserves, export, import, and exchange rate. The analysis used in this research is multiple regression using Ordinary Least Square (OLS) applied time series data. The data were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). The results showed that export and exchange rate has positive and significant effect on foreign exchange reserves during the period of 1985- 2015, meanwhile import showed no signifcant effect on foreign exchange reserves.
