Abstract

Ra-nget area has high coastal tourism potential. Nevertheless there are some beach attractions like, Sepo Waterfall, Waterfall Wang Tong, and Tokam Tok Waterfall has not been developed optimally. The objectives of this research are: (1) to analyze the potential of tourism object of Sepo Waterfall, Wang Tong Waterfall and Tok Tok Waterfall in the research area, and (2) to make the development strategy of waterfall object, Sepo Waterfall, Wang Tong Waterfall, and Tok Etam Waterfall. The method used in this research is survey method with questionnaire. The results obtained from this study are (1)tourist attraction that has a high combined potential, namely tedapat in tourist attraction Sepo Waterfall. Meanwhile, a tourist attraction with a combined potential level is located in the tourist attraction of Waterfalls Wang Tong, and the potential of a low combined tourist attraction in the tourist attraction Tok Tok Waterfall. However, based on the internal, external, and potential potential of its supporters, the tourist attraction in the Rum-nget Region has varied potentials ranging from low to high, (2 )the strategy for developing tourist objects in the Radar Region is directed as follows: (a) the quality of the object by utilizing the potential of existing natural resources while maintaining the aspect of environmental sustainability, (b) increasing the promotion of tourism in Ra-nget Area by establishing cooperation with private parties and related institutions, so that existing tourism marketing will be more integrated and directed, (c) increasing the intensity of attractive tourist events so that tourists are more interested in visiting, and (d) the formation of territorials with tourist destinations to intensify development in the tourism sector which will eventually increase the number of tourist visits.
