Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of agricultural land area, productivity, rice consumption and agricultural labor on food availability in Central Java in the period 2011-2015. The data used is the ratio of rice availability in Central Java, Central Java rice harvest area, land productivity per hectare in Central Java, rice consumption per ton of Central Java, Central Java agricultural labor. The analysis model used in this study is a cross section panel data regression and uses panel data per district / city in Central Java. Data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Central Java Food Security Service, previous journals and reports. The results show that harvested area, productivity and consumption have a positive and significant influence on the availability of rice in Central Java during the period 2011-2015.
