Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim to analyze the effect of GDP, Inflation, and interest rates on public consumption in Indonesia The analysis process performed is Partial Adjustment or Partial Adjustment Model (PAM). The test uses statistical tests including classic assumption test, F test, R-square test and t test. Where testing using tools Eviews 7.1. Based on the estimation results show the independent variable effect of = 0.9984. This means that 99.84% of GDP, inflation and interest rates affect consumption in Indonesia. The results of the Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) test analysis show that the variables of GDP and inflation have a significant effect in the short and long term on public consumption and the variable deposit rates are not significant in the short and long term on public consumption. Revenue increases, a stable interest rate and controlled inflation will drive the level of public consumption which is one of the factors driving the economy, so that the Indonesian economy can continue to grow and develop. The large number of products and services offered by social media makes the community more consistent. The community must be smarter in determining consumption choices to improve the welfare of life.
