Abstract

This research was conducted in Toroh Sub District, Grobogan District. This study is entitled "Analysis of Changes in Land Use in Toroh Sub District, Grobogan District, in 2007 and 2017. This study has the objectives: (1). Analyze changes in land use in Toroh Sub District, Grobogan District in 2007 and 2017. (2). Analyzing land use change factors in Toroh Sub District, Grobogan District. The method used in this study is indirect observation using images and surveys to check the validation of observations and interviews to determine factors of land use change. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis resulting from map overlay and statistical data to compare the occurrence of land use changes, while data analysis of qualitative data from interviews to obtain land use change factors. The results of this study indicate changes in land use in Toroh Subdistrict namely forest area which increased very rapidly in 2007 with an area of 79.37 Ha, which increased by about 23.5% to 3,058.93 Ha in 2017, and the settlement increased by about 1.67% to 3,034.19 hectares in 2017, and a reduced land use change, which was bushes in 2007 with an area of 1,656.14 hectares, reduced by about 13.1% to 0 ha in 2017, and irrigated rice fields which decreased by 5.28%, namely to 4,417.79 Ha in 2017. Changes in land use occurred in the southern part of Toroh Sub-district, namely from west to east, which experienced forest change to area and gardens, shrubs, and moorings which were reduced, while reduced irrigated rice fields occurred in the District of Toroh section North and become an increasing settlement. Factors affecting land use change are property rights that are processed regularly and other factors, namely local residents who change job professions that lead to increased settlement area with small and large buildings.
