Abstract

ABTRACT THE USE OF MAP SIMULATION LEARNING MODELS IN INDONESIAN POPULATION CONDITIONS IN SUBJECT SOCIAL SCIENCE OF VII A GRADE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL OF A MUHAMMADIYAH 6 SURAKARTA APPLICATION 2014/2015. SKRIPSI 2018 The purpose of this study is to find out how to use map simulation that can support teaching and learning activities of students of class VII A 2014/2015 academic year, in subject of social science (IPS) material the condition of the Indonesian population, at Muhammadiyah 6 Junior high School in Surakarta, due to lack of understanding student knowledge of the Map taught by the Teacher. Simulation Strategies in Indonesian Population Material are more effective than using conventional strategies. The research subject is VII grade VII A, VII B and VII C which has about 104 students. This study uses the Control Class VII B and VII C, while class VII A is used as an Experiment Class. The conclusion of this study is the use of simulation methods that can increase the mental mapping of students towards learning social geography in VII grade of Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta junior high school. The results of testing the Simple T Test Paired Test hypothesis. The results of teaching and learning activities between experimental classes and control classes indicate differences. From the average value of the experimental class that has obtained the learning method using the Simulation strategy, the average grade is 3.2 compared to the average activity of students in the two control classes (Class B & Class C), among others: 3.0 and 2 , 9. The difference in the results of activity from the control class and experimental class is 0.2 to 0.3. The average test scores in experimental class (class A) the pre test were 60 and post test were 90, the average score of pre test score was 60 and post test 70 for class B and the pre test score was 67.5 and post test score 70 for class C. This shows that the average value in the experiment is more effective than the average value in the control class, so Ho is accepted by Ha rejected. Keywords: Learning Model Experiments.
