Abstract
Interpersonal communication is communication between two or more individuals that is directly or indirectly to get direct feedback, interpersonal communication has characteristics such as intimacy,mutual support, comfort and trust so that interpersonal communication relationships can be interwoven. Oesman's Barbershop is one of the few barber shops that are in great demand in the city of Surakarta, this makes Oesman's Barbershop always have the right marketing services to develop and maintain his business. And in this research look for how the interpersonal communication process with customers and how barberman participate in marketing services. By using qualitative descriptive method, this study aims to find out how the interpersonal communication pattern is directed with its customers in producing good service. After collecting data through interviews and documentation, with good interpersonal communication will create familiarity between barberman and customers and create word of mouth after customers use their services. Barberman communication method with customers makes it as personal selling to customers which aims to market a service that is superior in Oesman's Barbershop. Good service creates a feeling of pleasure to customers because the service successfully fulfills its service expectations and will recommend this place to friends, relatives and even their families.
