Abstract
This study aimed to determine the relationship between the ability to tell the story of the emotional intelligence of children of Group A in Aisyiyah Kindergarten Pabelan Kartasura of the Academic Year of 2017/2018. This research method was descriptive research with the type of correlation study. The study sample amounted to 30 children. The data collection techniques through observation and questionnaires that previously tested the validity and reliability. Data analysis technique with prerequisite analysis test ie normality test, linearity test, hypothesis test with SPPS program for windows 19.00. The result of the research showed that the normality test with Kolmogorov Smirnov by looking at the value of Liliefors are known all the values of Lcount < Ltable (where Ltie Liliefors with N = 30 equal to 0,161), so it could be concluded that the research data was normally distributed while the linearity test are known Fcount < Ftable (where Ftable with N = 30 with df 1; 29 equal to 4,17 and Sig value > 0,05 and product moment correlation test known rtable value <rtable (where with N = 30 rtabel equal to 0,361) and value of Sig < 0.05, so it could be concluded there was a positive and meaningful relationship between the ability to tell a teacher with emotional intelligence of children of Group A in Aisyiyah Kindergarten Pabelan Kartasura of the Academic Year of 2017/2018.
