Abstract
Steel is kind of material used widely in mechanical engineering area. This metal can work at elevated temperature. Many research has been developed to understand steel behavior at elevated temperature. One of the phenomena that occur in steel at elevated temperature is creep. Creep can cause failure of material, even if the material loaded bellow it’s yield stress. In this work creep from steel pipa is modeled with Abaqus 6.14-5. Then, the relation between temperature, creep, creep rate, and stress is determined. Finally, found that temperature influence creep and stress, but do not influence creep rate.Keyword : steel, yield point, creep, elevated temperature, abaqus 6.14-5
