Abstract

This research was conducted in a study on population growth in Rembang Regency, Central Java Province. The results of this study specifically found that the socio-economic conditions of the North Kendeng Mountains have high agricultural potential, as evidenced by the large land and large springs. This study found the political forms of North Kendeng Mountains farmers in the context of the construction of a cement factory in Rembang District which had properties such as occupation actions, actions, actions and policy advocacy. This study reveals that different types of North Kendeng Mountains are CAT Watuputih as Karst Landscape Areas (KBAK) so that limestone mining is not carried out. This research is also a form of contribution for women involved in the movement to reject the construction of a cement factory in Rembang Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research type, with a phenomenological approach as a research design.
