Abstract
SME Batako Colomadu is a SME engaged in the manufacture of paving blocks batako. One day SME Batako Colomadu able to produce as many as 1000 units of various types and sizes. From the results of the initial survey it was found that the worker in performing his position posture work looks unnatural because the worker must adjust his body position with the workpiece as when printing the paving of brick and moving the prints to the storage. The method used in this study is the %CVL to determine the physical load received, the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire to identify sick complaints and Quick Exposure Check method (QEC) to calculate the risk of work postures experienced by the operator during his work activities . The purpose of this study is to identify the work posture on the operator, to know the energy consumption and physical load experienced by workers based on the heart rate. Based on data of physiology work processing showed that the highest CVL respondent value was at work station paved press paving 4 with score 40,23%, then at paving work station of manual paving 4 is 36,39% and on manual workmanship paving 6 is 33.40% which means fatigue and repair needed. Assessment of work posture using QEC overall score of exposure check every activity experienced by workers between 51-70% hence needed improvement and action in the near future to reduce risk resulting from wrong work posture.
