Abstract

language disregard its culture, including people who speak will promote culture when they told. Someone who is intellectual and famous does not necessarily put forth a polite culture towards others. But not everyone who is intellectual and famous does not put forth a culture to others. This study aims to describe the realization of the principle politeness and its implications on KI and KD in the junior high school. This type of research is qualitative with pragmatic approach. The data research is politeness principle that is maxims from conversations in the Rosi show on Kompas TV, while the data source is the Rosi show which aired on Friday, April 12, 2018 with the title "Who Wants Change President?" On Kompas TV. Technique of collecting data with uninvolved conversation observation technique (SBLC) and transcript of data. Technique of data analysis using pragmatic equal with basic technique to sort the determining element. The results showed that 54 speeches in the Rosi event obeyed the principle politeness. Maxim of tact submission 7 speech, maxim of generosity 3 speech, maxim of approbation 9 speech, maxim of modesty 5 speech, maxim of agreement 25 speech, and maxim of sympathy 5 speech implications. In addition, this research can be implicated in the learning of Indonesian junior high school at 9 grade on KD 4.10. The highest maximizing compliance is the maxim of agreed, while the lowest is the maxim of generosity.
