Abstract

In its role, corn is used as a substitute food crop for rice which opens up great prospects for the farmers' economy. More and more the need for corn is increasing due to the development of the food and feed industry. This study aims to analyze the influence, wages of labor, phonska fertilizer, urea fertilizer, and seeds on production in corn farming and find out whether or not the influence of each independent variable on production on corn farming in Jatisrono District. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) model using the Eviews application. The results of OLS multiple linear regression analysis stated that together the variables of total costs, labor wages, phonska fertilizer, urea fertilizer, and seeds had an effect on corn production in Jatisrono Subdistrict, whereas partially, phonska and seed fertilizer variables had a positive and significant effect on corn production, while labor and urea fertilizer have a negative and insignificant effect on the yield of corn.
