Abstract

Grounding equipment is a conductive relationship that combines electrical equipment and installation equipment with the ground, so that it can protect current hazards that can damage equipment and endanger humans. The purpose of network protection is to reduce the extent of possible interference with electricity and provide maximum protection for equipment, environment and other disturbances. Lightning arresters (LA) also have protection against voltage increases due to lightning strikes, this is functioned so that protection can really counteract the danger when there is interference. The method is to do the study of the literature is useful to add deepening and purpose of understanding with the title, eg from references, books, and others related to the earth in the substation.Taking data taking and doing research in 150KV Substation and taking data about arresters and temperature. The results of the GI Wonogiri study on Arrest measurements for 24 hours, the results are normal according to the standard, either from normal temperature 32O, leakage current, and its resistance.
