Abstract

Adolescence is one of the transitional periods from childhood to adulthood. At this time adolescents experience many changes either physically, socially, educationally or intellectually. This study aims to determine the adjustment in terms of self-efficacy in new students. The sampling technique in this research is using random sampling technique to determine the faculty that will be the sample, whereas to determine the subject of the research using incidental sampling technique that is every subject encountered in the accident to be used as subject with the sample number 100 people. The subject of the study is a new student. The results of this study there is a very significant positive relationship between self-efficacy with adjustment in new students, adjustment of the subject of research is high, self-efficacy research subject is very high and effective contribution of variable self-efficacy to variable adjustment of 30, 58% and 69.42% influenced by other factors that affect the adjustment.
