Abstract

Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (LLA) is the most common malignant case in children of 80-85%. Almost all cases with LLA disease have not known the exact cause until now, although some genetic and environmental factors are often associated with leukemia in children. Immediate treatment of cases of LLA in children is one factor can help children in maintaining quality of life, so the introduction of early signs of LLA in children is very important. This study aims to describe How the Early Symptoms of Children with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in DrMoewardi Hospital Surakarta. This research is a quantitative research using descriptive design and data collection usingquestionnaire. The study population was a child with acute lymphostic leukemia who underwent treatment at Dr. Regional General Hospital. Moewardi, from January to December 2017 as many as 74 children. The sample of the research were 31 children determined using total accidental technique. The research data collection using questionnaire instrument, while data analysis using descriptive test.Using the frequencydistribution table. Conclusion of the study was that most children with acute lymphobastic leukemia who underwent treatment at the regional general hospital Dr. Moewardi experienced initial symptoms such as weight loss 100% weak and lost power 93% 90% fever and 87% pale skin and 77% anemia.
