Abstract
Rapid technological advancements greatly benefit humans in completing their work. The expert system is also widely used by humansin the field of medicine, especially is study is about dental and oral diseases. Oral and dental health is important to be maintained. Dental and mouth disease if ignored, will eventually become severe and affect other organs. The inference method used in study is the forward chaining method. The forward chaining method is an inference method that begins by collection facts and then finding the conclusions which later will be the solution to the problem. The purpose of this study was to design an expert system application to diagnose dental and oral diseases. The design of this expert system is made web-based to make it easier for users to use it. This system has worked well as expected by researchers based on black box testing. This expert system is able to be well received by users based on user acceptance test with an average percentage of 83,2%.
